We are Holly, Adam (and Tweed), a young couple looking to build a business and a future in the UK agricultural sector. The name The BZy Shepherd comes from the initials of our surnames – the B from Adam B and the Z from Holly Z. The two initials combined form the name of our venture.

We're fully insured and DBS checked, giving customers peace of mind when we're looking after their farms, livestock and animals.

We certainly wear many hats and aren't just shepherds! From lambing and livestock work to farm sitting, calf rearing and general farm work, we enjoy getting stuck into all aspects of agriculture and no two jobs are ever quite the same.

Adam has a Level 2 Livestock Apprenticeship and a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management. He particularly enjoys spring lambing and is currently supporting most BZy Shepherd jobs while Holly finishes her studies. He is also a keen Sheffield United supporter (please don't hold this against him).

Holly has a Level 3 Livestock Unit Technician Apprenticeship qualification and is currently a final-year student at Aberystwyth University, studying Agriculture and Business Management, where she holds a CLACT scholarship. The BZy Shepherd recently won the 2026 University of Aberystwyth 12th Annual Enterprise Awards. She is a slightly more reluctant Sheffield United supporter.

Tweed is a friendly sheepdog and pet who maintains an enduring interest (and some ability) in rounding up sheep. He has also been known to chase balls in his spare time. Tweed's football affiliation is officially unknown (although we suspect he may be a Barking FC supporter).
