Farm Sitting
We provide fully insured, DBS-checked livestock farm sitting services across dairy, beef, sheep, pig and poultry enterprises. Our experience ranges from looking after 12-acre smallholdings to 3,000-acre Scottish hill farms.
Where possible, we aim to arrive 24 hours before you leave (or two milkings ahead) to get familiar with your farm, livestock and daily routines. We want to run things just as you would, so the more information the better – pages of notes are always welcome!
Our aim is to give you peace of mind while you're away, knowing your farm and livestock are in safe hands.
Please note: On-farm accommodation is required for all farm sitting bookings.
Lambing & Shepherding
We offer contract lambing support to sheep farmers during the busy lambing season. Having worked with flocks ranging from 200 to 2,000 ewes, we have gained experience across a range of systems and farming environments. Our work has taken us as far as Orkney, where we spent a lambing season looking after 500 ewes on an uninhabited island!
Sheep welfare is always a priority, and we understand the importance of working to your own standards and routines. We aim to run the shed exactly as you would, ensuring your flock receives the same care and attention as if you were there yourself.

Calf Rearing & Cattle
We offer flexible support with calf rearing and across the wider beef, cattle and dairy sectors. Our experience includes calf care, feeding, milking and general day-to-day stock work, providing practical support to suit your farm's needs.
We understand that every farm has its own routines and ways of working, and are happy to fit in with your existing systems, ensuring livestock care and welfare remain a priority.
Other Livestock Sitting
We also have wide experience of supporting farms with other livestock, including poultry (including geese, hens and turkeys), pigs, lamas, alpacas, dogs / puppies and ponies. Although generally part of our farm sitting service, please get in touch to discuss your needs.
